It feels as though we are getting news and updates on this ever-evolving situation several times a day, not only nationally, but right here locally in our community as well.
We know there are sentiments of uncertainty in the face of rising global health concerns, but we wanted to send a thank you to the people who are working tirelessly to support their neighbors here in Southlake.
SCRATCH CATERING DONATES MEALS
Scratch Catering & Fine Foods announced that they will provide free meals for employees of Southlake Town Square who are out of work, no questions asked. An outpouring of community support since Scratch announced this initiative has seen Southlake residents coming together to purchase Scratch Catering Gift Cards that will be donated to those in need.
SOUTHLAKE PUBLIC LIBRARY’S VIRTUAL STORY TIME
To offer some comfort and familiarity to our community’s little ones, Southlake Public Library is bringing story time online until they reopen. Join them on Facebook Live every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:00am for fun stories and songs. You can watch all past virtual Story Times here.
LOCAL RESTAURANTS OFFER TAKE-OUT & DELIVERY
Brio Tuscan Grill, Del Frisco’s Grille, Hopdoddy Burger Bar, Mi Cocina, Rockfish, Shake Shack, Thailicious, and The Cheesecake Factory are all offering to-go, curbside pickup, and delivery options to keep our community fed and their staff working while dining rooms are closed. Support them if you can!
